Vera Johnson, Patient Coordinator,Front Desk
Vera has been a resident of Ft. Myers since 1982 moving here from Indiana. She attended Indiana University's Dental Technician program and specialized in Orthodontics. The majority of her dental career has been in Orthodontics, either as a lab technician or assistant. She owned and operated her own dental lab from 1982-1994 full time and today on a part time basis. Vera has been working the front office since 2002, and currently handles insurance claims and accounts receivable as well as scheduling appointments. Vera enjoys greeting all of our patients each day.
Tammy Smith, Front Desk/Dental Assistant
Tammy moved to SW Florida 10 years ago from the NE Suburbs of Philadelphia. She received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Degree from Manor Junior College in 1998 and has been enjoying dentistry ever since.
Tammy handles the dental insurance and works 2 days a week assisting Dr. McClaran. She works hard to get the most out of every patients dental insurance company. In her free time you may see her around town cheering on her kids, Nicholas and Samantha at one of their sporting events or relaxing at the beach.
Karen Friske, Dental Assistant
Karen moved to Southwest Florida 18 years ago from Wisconsin and now lives in the Cape with her two cats Frankie and Sophie. She has been a Dental Assistant for 24 years and enjoys helping patients with their dental needs.
Jamie Caylor, Dental Hygienist
Jamie was born and raised in Lee County. She has one daughter. Jamie started out in dentistry being a dental assistant and loving dentistry, she decided to further her education by going to hygiene school. She graduated from Edison College in 2003 with an Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Jamie has been with the practice since 2004. She loves working with people and enjoys making sure that all of the patients have a good time with a lot of laughter at their visits.
Melissa Crisman, Dental Hygienist
Melissa is originally from Englewood, Florida and moved to Fort Myers in 2000 to attend Dental Hygiene school. After graduating from Edison State College in 2002, Melissa and her husband decided to stay in Fort Myers to raise their two beautiful daughters.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, working out and going to her daughter's school to volunteer.
